Citroen Berlingo First 750

24 October 2010

Now the unique Citroën Berlingo First packs an even greater payload punch. The latest upgrade of this perennially popular van sees it benefit from a major increase in payload from 600kg to 749kg. To reflect its 25% payload boost, this model is now designated as the Berlingo First 750.

Competitively priced at just £11,435 MRBP*, the Berlingo First 750’s payload increase has been achieved as part of a package of changes, which includes the addition of an underbody engine protection plate and suspension revisions. As a result, the van’s gross vehicle weight has increased from 1,730kg to 1,955kg and braked trailer towing capacity has been raised to 1,070kg.

The Berlingo First 750 is well equipped with a specification that includes high-frequency remote control central locking, electric front windows, an electrically adjustable passenger side door mirror and a near-side sliding side load door as part of its standard equipment.

Robert Handyside, Citroën’s Commercial Vehicle Operations Manager, comments; “The well-proven Berlingo First is now an even better budget choice for van buyers. With its latest payload and towing gains, this van remains a practical and economical choice for a wide range of businesses.”
